Celtic player Ismaila Soro has posted a back to work message.
The out-of-favour midfielder seems to have been given extra time off this summer, judging from the Friday post on Instagram.
Soro took to the platform to post some photos of him playing local football during the summer, adding the caption: “Holidays over, back to the reality of work”. (translated)
The Ivorian certainly hasn’t been seen training with Celtic since Brendan Rodgers returned to the club, and is clearly not in his plans.
A Football Scotland report on Thursday said Soro would depart and that he had played his last game for Celtic.
Earlier in the week it was reported that Israeli pair Beitar Jerusalem and Hapoel Be’er Sheva had both made enquires for him.

Soro has one more year to run on his contract (Transfer Markt) so it would be good if we could move him on this summer and recoup a little of the money we spent for him in 2020.
It just hasn’t worked out and he hasn’t been what we’ve needed. But you can’t really fault his effort or application. Sometimes these things just happen and it’s best for all concerned to have a parting of the ways.
We’ll let you know if we hear any more about a potential move away.
