Celtic’s win over St Johnstone proved that Brendan Rodgers has a team at his disposal that wants to play intense, attacking football.
We have seen it in fits and starts over the course of the season but, recently, the Celtic fans are starting to see it a lot more and at a crucial stage of the season.
And there is now one player who is starting to come on to a serious game after his £3m January move this year.
Nicolas Kuhn has had his struggles at Celtic since his winter move but the fans have seen stark improvements in his performances recently.
Against Livingston in the Scottish Cup, Kuhn looked a dangerous threat on that right flank. And after his sparkling performance against St Johnstone yesterday, Peter Grant believes that Rodgers has a player who could be massive for the title run-in.
Grant said [Celtic TV], “I think he’ll be a massive player because he likes the one-on-one situations and that’s why at times I would leave him isolated because I think he’s got the beating of any fullback.
“Sometimes we say things about Yang, how he does great but maybe doesn’t have the legs to get away [from defenders].
“Kuhn looks a little bit sharper and puts delivery into dangerous areas and makes it really, really difficult. He’s had a couple of assists in the last few weeks and his confidence is getting bigger and bigger.
“And that’s all you want from your players who are going to affect the game.”

Some great praise indeed for a player whose signing was, just a matter of weeks ago, being seriously questioned by some pundits in the media.
Now that the German winger and Daizen Maeda are both flying now under Rodgers, we are starting to see a rejuvenated Kyogo Furuhashi after the Japanese striker bagged his 15th goal of the season yesterday. [Transfermarkt]
And that can only stand Celtic in good stead as the Glasgow Derby Ibrox fixture gets closer with each passing week.
