Celtic fans have long lamented the state of Parkhead ever since Storm Eowyn ripped off the banners almost a year ago now.

Celtic Park has looked grey, dull and unimpressive for many months now and it has been annoying supporters for a long time.

One of the most annoying things about the stadium facade is that the Celtic Park banners should have been done months ago, but it appears that Celtic are trying to appease the fan anger by implementing the long overdue facelift.

And as photos emerge online, it’s hard not to admit that the stadium is now looking good for Celtic’s first fixture back from the international break.

Celtic Park makeover has 1967 European Cup win at its heart

Looking at the photo above, Celtic fans can see how the outside of the stadium looked back in November 2024 before the Champions League tie against Club Brugge.

And now, almost a year later, the stadium looks much different as these photos on X show.

Detailing all of Celtic’s domestic and European successes, it looks like the board are keen to push the fact that under their tenure, the Parkhead club became Scotland’s most successful team.

Whatever the board’s motives are for doing this, it will still be warmly welcomed by every Celtic supporter.

When Celtic fans can see the new-look stadium banners

With the international break still in full swing, Celtic supporters will need to wait until next Saturday before they get to see the new-look stadium wraps.

Celtic will face St Mirren on the 22nd of November with an unusual Saturday night kick-off time of 8pm.

Celtic will have the chance to close the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership table to Hearts by four points as the Tynecastle club visit Aberdeen on Sunday.
