Celtic Park has been damaged by strong winds caused by Storm Eowyn over the last 24 hours.

Celtic’s next fixture is against Dundee at Parkhead with a 3pm kick-off scheduled for the Parkhead clash

However, damage caused to Celtic Park by Storm Eowyn has put the game in doubt after the club released a statement last night confirming such.

Celtic said “Unfortunately today’s severe weather conditions have caused some damage at Celtic Park.

“Our stadium and safety staff are currently unable to fully assess the extent of the damage due to the ongoing extreme condition.”

The club also highlighted its plan to make an assessment ‘as early as possible’ in time for travelling Celtic and Dundee fans to make plans for the game.

And this morning, Celtic have released a statement confirming whether or not the game against Tony Docherty’s side is going to go ahead.

Celtic confirms that Dundee fixture is off

In a statement released on Celtic’s official website, the club said, “Today’s scheduled Scottish Premiership match between Celtic and Dundee at Celtic Park has been called off.

“Unfortunately, due to the stadium damage sustained yesterday we have been advised that we are unable to proceed with today’s match.

“While clearly this is disappointing, the safety of our supporters will always be our priority.

“The rearranged fixture will take place on February 5, 2025 with a 7.45pm kick-off.”

Celtic’s hectic fixture schedule builds up

Celtic’s fixture schedule continues to build up as Brendan Rodgers looks to negotiate a tricky period of the calendar.

With games in the Champions League still to play and midweek Scottish Premiership fixtures to fulfil, Celtic have a job on their hands in February after getting through a hectic schedule in January.

With the Scottish Cup also sandwiched in, Rodgers now has eight fixtures all in to fulfil in February as the Celtic manager fights on four fronts this late into the season.
