Ange Postecoglou and Celtic mean business this January if the Thursday night report about Yosuke Ideguchi is anything to go by.
Last night, we told you how the Japanese midfielder would be offered the chance to return back to his homeland next month.
Guchi has struggled for game-time this season and hasn’t played a single minute of competitive football since the Trophy Day rout of Motherwell in May.

The Scottish Sun report says his departure could ‘make room for incoming transfers’ – something that should excite Celtic fans.
Much was made of Celtic’s transfer business in the summer, with the likes of Aaron Mooy, Moritz Jenz and Sead Haksabanovic already proving their worth.
But it was the work done moving unfancied players out that went under the radar.

In the summer, the likes of Christopher Jullien, Jonathan Afolabi and Boli Bolingoli were all sold permanently, while Vasilis Barkas, Ismaila Soro, Albian Ajeti and more were loaned out.
The result is that Postecoglou now has a squad packed with players he can fully trust. It’s part of the reason why we’ve seen so much rotation over the past few months.
If Ideguchi’s exit has been discussed, then you can bet other less fancied players will be on the agenda too.
With the signings of Yuki Kobayashi and Alistair Johnston already secured by early December, and yesterday’s Ideguchi report, it’s clear Celtic mean business.
In other news, Celtic are set to face a familiar name from the recent past against Rennes tomorrow
