Celtic manager, Ange Postecoglou has been hotly tipped as one of the favourites for the Tottenham Hotspur job over the last few days.
Unfortunately, most of the column inches have been taken up with this news rather than focusing on the build-up to a potential historic Scottish Cup Final this weekend.
And whilst most pundits are predicting that the Celtic manager may find the appeal of the job too difficult to turn down former Celtic defender, Ramon Vega says Ange should focus on the next challenge at Parkhead whilst delivering a harsh reality check for Tottenham Hotspur fans.

Vega tweeted, “If Ange Postecoglou wins the treble for Celtic the next challenge shouldn’t be managing Spurs but fighting for playing in the Champions League for Celtic or going to a reputable big European Club which Spurs unfortunately is, for sure, not one of them at the moment.”
There has been a lot of chatter on Twitter from the Tottenham fans. The hashtag #NoToAnge is quite incredible considering the success the Celtic manager has had in his career.

I just don’t get where the sense of entitlement comes from those fans who assume the Celtic manager is not good enough for their club. It’s not as if they are one of the most successful clubs in England.
The last piece of silverware that they won was the English League Cup back in 2008 and they last won the league in 1961. Granted they reached the Champions League Final in 2019 but they lost it to Liverpool in a 2-0 defeat.
But then, football fans are quite tribal and we all think of our own club as the best in the world. Tottenham fans are no different. Until we hear something official from either Celtic or Tottenham, we can only put these rumours down as paper talk.
