There have been a fair few players and coaches, with Celtic connections, linked to the manager’s gig, including Ange Postecoglou, Robbie Keane, Scott Brown, and Craig Bellamy.
And now on social media, former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has backed a former Hoops striker for the gig, ahead of Treble-winning coach, Postecoglou.

The Telegraph were reporting three contenders for the Celtic manager’s job – Keane, Postecoglou, and Kieran McKenna.
When it was reported that the trio are ‘in the running’, Ferdinand simply posted on social media, ‘Keanoooo’, as he seemingly made his feelings clear as to who he wants as Celtic’s next boss.

Keane has managed three clubs, and he is currently the manager of Ferencvárosi TC of Hungary.
The 45-year-old has also managed in the Europa League, and they are currently fifth in the Hungarian league – four points off the leaders with a game in hand.
