Everyone is aware that the relationship between the Celtic fans and the board is broken.
You could even argue that it is broken beyond repair, but on occasions, a few Celtic legends would speak about those off-field matters.
At times, you sense they should stay quiet, and that might be the case with Celtic hero Scott Brown.
Following Wilfried Nancy’s sacking at Celtic on Monday, Brown spoke about another dramatic episode unfolding in Glasgow, including praising Dermot Desmond and the board.

Scott Brown praises Dermot Desmond as Celtic hero reacts to Wilfried Nancy’s sacking
This isn’t a great period for Celtic right now, even though they won the double under Brendan Rodgers’ stewardship last season.
But Brown insisted on The Breakdown that the champions of Scotland ‘will go through a good period again’, as Martin O’Neill is back in the dugout.
The legendary midfielder also thinks Nancy just ‘wasn’t the right fit at the right time’, as the former MLS coach lasted only 33 days in the job.
That’s when Brown praised Desmond for making two very good calls at Celtic; that’s bringing Rodgers to the club, and bringing O’Neill back the first time around.
The Celtic Park faithful won’t like to hear it, but he also praised the board by stating that they have ‘done some fantastic things as well’ amid the protests against them.
“They will go through a good period again,” said Brown. “It’s the right manager at the right time.
“Maybe Nancy wasn’t the right fit at the right time. But Dermot got it spot on for bringing Martin in for those games. He got it spot on for Brendan.
“I know there are a lot of things with the board and the fans, and that. But they have done some fantastic things as well.
“At times, the players are going to get it wrong. Managers are going to get it wrong. Boards. It’s part and parcel of being a football club.”
