The final set of Premiership games was played over the weekend, including Celtic and Aberdeen playing in the afternoon.
Celtic celebrated trophy day by leaving it late to earn a point against St Mirren, and Aberdeen were beaten at Dundee United to finish fifth in the Premiership table.
Whilst part of the headlines were Celtic celebrating their 55th Premiership crown in front of their supporters, and a fourth title in a row.
Scenes at Tannadice overshadowed matters because Aberdeen’s Jack MacKenzie was struck by part of a seat thrown from the crowd.
MacKenzie, who was an unused substitute, was on the field of play after the opposition fans invaded the pitch at the end of the game, before he was struck by an object coming from his own supporters, as reported by Sky News.
The 24-year-old required treatment on the field of play; he was bandaged up and then wheeled away in a chair, as that matter was discussed on talkSPORT by Simon Jordan.

Simon Jordan is critical of Celtic during talk around Jack MacKenzie incident
In recent months, away fans have returned inside stadiums to watch the Glasgow derby, after travelling supporters were absent from this fixture for several years.
Jordan proceeded to mention this when discussing the MacKenzie incident, and how Celtic and Rangers are ‘bad examples’.
The former Crystal Palace owner labelled both clubs ‘childish’ for their behaviour in not allowing away fans, and somehow managed to bring Celtic into the conversation when they had nothing to do with what happened at the weekend.
It’s understandable that Celtic are the biggest talking point in Scotland, but that doesn’t mean they should be mentioned at every given moment.
“It’s very easy to say what you should do,” said Jordan. “It’s much more difficult to enforce it.
“I think there are bad examples. I think Rangers and Celtic fans, at the top of their game, we have seen two football clubs who won’t allow football stadiums for the last five or six years, because they are childish and they can’t stand losing at one another’s grounds.
“And they have got a different relationship in the boardroom than you should have amongst your rivals.
“You have seen fans having debates as to whether they are entitled to pyrotechnics, and what they should or shouldn’t be able to do.”
From title contenders to Scottish Cup final…
Aberdeen face Celtic in the Scottish Cup final this weekend, and this is the last thing they needed, because their football certainly isn’t doing the talking.
From being possible title contenders at the start of the season, to finishing fifth in the table, it has been a woeful second half of the campaign for Jimmy Thelin’s men.

Not only that, Celtic have scored fives and sixes against them in recent matches, so you fear what the champions of Scotland can do at Hampden over the weekend.
You expect nothing but Callum McGregor to be lifting that trophy aloft and helping Celtic celebrate winning a Treble.
