Celtic and Rangers are both competing in the Europa League this season.
After Kairat Almaty beat Celtic on penalties in the Champions League play-off, Brendan Rodgers will now taste Europa League football for the first time as the Bhoys manager.
Rangers’ humiliation in Brugge consigned Russell Martin to the same fate and the Ibrox club will also now play in Europe’s second-tier competition.
Celtic’s Europa League draw saw the Bhoys pitched against Rangers’ opponents, Sturm Graz, and that prompted the Austrian club to ask their fans one big question.
Who is number one in Glasgow?

Sturm Graz fans answer Europa League club’s big Celtic/Rangers question
Sturm Graz will face Celtic at Parkhead in October but will play Rangers first that month, so that prompted the Austrian Bundesliga club to ask one big question.
Taking to X, Sturm Graz asked, “We have drawn both clubs from Glasgow! Which club is the number 1 in the city? Celtic FC or Rangers FC?”
The response was unanimous. With 25,646 votes cast, 67.5% said Celtic were the top dogs in the country. With 13 out of the last 14 titles won, the answer to that question was never in doubt.
Celtic’s European record vs Sturm Graz
Incredibly, Celtic have never faced Sturm Graz in Europe before. The Parkhead club have, however, faced Austrian opposition before.
| Celtic vs. | Played | Won | Drew | Lost |
| FC Tyrol | 4 | 2 | 0 | 2 |
| Rapid Vienna | 4 | 0 | 2 | 2 |
| RB Salzburg | 4 | 0 | 1 | 3 |
With their record against Austrian opposition not being the best, Rodgers knows he has a tough job on his hands.
At least the big game will be at Celtic Park and the Bhoys will have the backing of what is likely to be a sold-out fixture.
