Celtic made their third signing of the summer transfer window on Friday.
Kieran Tierney arrived from Arsenal first, before goalkeeper Ross Doohan also joined on a free transfer after departing Aberdeen.
Now, winger Benjamin Nygren is a Celtic player having signed a five-year contract following his departure from FC Nordsjælland.
Fabrizio Romano claimed the Hoops agreed a £1.28m deal for the 23-year-old, but Sky Sports state the fee was approximately £2m.
Regardless, this appears to be an incredible piece of business for a player who is now shining on the international stage for Sweden.

Nygren sends message to FC Nordsjælland
Hours after being announced, Nygren took to his Instagram account and wrote a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to his former teammates, coaches and fans of FCN.
He said: “Thank you @fcnordsjaelland for the last 3,5 years. I came as a boy and left as a man. I especially want to thank all of the teammates and staff I’ve had and off course the fans. You’ve been amazing!
“Tak før alt!”
Nygren signed for FCN in January 2022 after his spell at Heerenveen on loan from Belgian side Genk was terminated early.
He made 107 appearances for the Danish Superliga outfit, scoring 35 goals and providing eight assists, and made the top-flight’s team of the year for 2024/25.
Gustaf Lagerbielke liked Nygren’s post
Nygren will meet up with countryman Gustaf Lagerbielke at Lennoxtown when Celtic players return for pre-season training.
Lagerbielke liked Nygren’s Instagram post, but it’s likely the defender will be leaving the Hoops for pastures new this summer.
SC Braga have submitted a £1.7m bid for Lagerbielke, while EFL Championship sides are also said to be interested in his signature.
Lagerbielke cost Celtic £3m in the summer of 2023, so the Bhoys will likely do everything they can to make as small a loss as they can.
