What a whirlwind couple of weeks it has been for new Celtic winger Sebastian Tounekti.

The Tunisian winger was Brendan Rodgers’ eleventh signing of the summer transfer window and fans are yet to see a glimpse of their new Bhoy.

However, Tounekti has already made his mark this summer after appearing for Tunisia in their World Cup qualification campaign which ended in dramatic fashion.

Sebastian Tounekti’s remarkable Tunisia stat as Celtic winger heads to the 2026 World Cup

Tounekti has just three caps for Tunisia as the 23-year-old Celtic player can now look forward to the World Cup.

But what makes his achievement even more remarkable is the number of minutes Tounekti has actually played for his country.

In just 19 minutes of international football, Celtic fans may well see Tounekti in the biggest football tournament in the world next summer.
