It’s party time for everyone associated with Celtic, because this has been a season for the ages.
It all started with Rangers running their mouth that they are going to win the Premiership title, and it ended with Martin O’Neill securing title number 56 for Celtic.
Tom Rogic knows all about having that winner’s medal around his neck, after he spent nine trophy-laden years at the club.
When the full-time whistle blew after Celtic’s win over Hearts, Rogic posted a blunt message on his Instagram story that is just never-ending.
‘Same old story,’ wrote Rogic. Glasgow is green and white 🍀.’

Who was your Celtic MOTM vs Hearts?
Tom Rogic rubs Rangers’ noses in it after Celtic beat Hearts to the title
Rangers didn’t just spend big last summer; they also splashed the cash in the winter, and were the favourites heading into the post-split fixtures.
Instead, they lost four in a row, including to Celtic, while O’Neill’s side won every game, with Daizen Maeda helping himself to seven goals.
The table never lies, with Celtic top of the pile, again! And Rangers not having the mettle during the pressure-filled split games.
Either way, Rogic, wherever he is in the world, posted several images of himself watching the Celtic-Hearts game as it was unfolding, before reacting to the win, and then calling for O’Neill to get a ‘statue.’

Rogic’s record at Celtic
After Rogic’s legendary spell at Celtic finished, he joined West Bromwich Albion for a brief period of time before opting to retire at the age of 30.
The Australian midfielder was part of some of Celtic’s greatest moments of the modern era, but perhaps nothing will top what unfolded this term.
In truth, even though Celtic are on course to win the domestic double, the team could do with a peak Rogic right now, because he was an underrated figure in the middle of the park.
- Games: 272
- Goals: 46
- Assists: 51
- Trophies: 17
