Celtic’s draw with Rangers is undoubtedly one of the worst Glasgow Derby games on record.
The 0-0 snoozefest was the perfect summation of two teams who are struggling for form and badly in need of an injection of quality after Celtic held Rangers to a boring stalemate.
Brendan Rodgers was seriously unhappy with Celtic’s style of play and has said that he hopes to add more quality to the Hoops squad on transfer deadline day.
After watching Celtic’s draw with Rangers, former Hoops striker Chris Sutton has fired a message to Rodgers’ recruitment team.

Chris Sutton’s transfer deadline day message for Celtic
Sutton was deeply unhappy with Celtic’s performance and he didn’t hold back post-match on social media.
Sutton said on X, “Truth is, two average teams. Big chance missed for Celtic against a rank Rangers team. Didn’t do enough to win it.
“Nowhere near enough in the final third from Celtic. A lack of combination play and understanding.
“Huge 24 hours for the Celtic recruitment team…”
At the time of writing, Celtic have yet to confirm any further incoming transfers with less than five hours of the window left to go.
John Hartson not ‘shy’ with Celtic verdict vs Rangers
John Hartson delivered his verdict on the Glasgow Derby draw as the iconic Celtic hero was left stunned by his old club’s performance.
Hartson said on X, “Not normally shy of a comment but I haven’t got one on that game.”
The performance stunned every Celtic supporter as they watched a team that looks like a shadow of the side they watched in last season’s Champions League.
Let’s hope Rodgers has a few aces up his sleeve to inject some serious quality into the Celtic first-team.
