Adam Idah has proven to be a big talking point ever since he returned to Celtic permanently.
After the 24-year-old impressed during his loan spell from Norwich City, Celtic paid big money for Idah, and that cloud is now over his head.
The Celtic striker isn’t the only one, because big money was also paid for Arne Engels, and he also divides opinion amongst the fanbase, pundits and media alike.
On Sunday, Idah scored for Celtic against Rangers, as Brendan Rodgers’ side earned a point at Ibrox for the final Glasgow derby of the campaign.
Idah’s second-half goal was the equaliser, after he missed a one-v-one chance in the first half, then, less than a minute later, watched Cyriel Dessers open the scoring for Rangers.
All of this is still making people question what sort of future he holds at the club.

Adam Idah questioned after scoring for Celtic against Rangers
There have been many critics of Idah, from those of a Celtic persuasion to those watching on from the outside.
Hugh Keevins has been one to bring up the Republic of Ireland star’s ‘£9 million price tag’ and how it will always ‘stay with him’.
The Clyde 1 Superscoreboard pundit thinks that, despite Idah’s well-worked goal against Rangers, he still doesn’t feel that the Celtic striker is ‘top draw’ or will sustain these performances ‘over a long period of time’.
“Unfortunately for Adam Idah, he cost £9 million, and that will stay with him because he is never a £9 million player,” said Keevins.
“He had a magnificent chance against Rangers to put Celtic 1-0 up. Blew it, and Rangers went up the other end of the park, and they went 1-0 up.
“He has certainly constructed his goal very well. A delicate touch, and he has got Celtic the point. But, for me, unfortunately, I don’t think he is top draw. I don’t think he will sustain Celtic over a long period of time. They really need to get in another striker. I don’t see a 30-goal striker there.
What if Idah was £1m: “The only reason why I bring up the £9 million is that it will live with him. Everyone will say automatically. Every time he trips over the ball, people will say ‘£9 million for him’.”
Idah’s record for Celtic against Rangers
One thing you can’t argue against, and that’s the fact that Idah scores big goals.
That stems from his loan spell, and to now, including the most memorable one, which was the winning goal against Rangers in the Scottish Cup final.
Say what you want about Idah, but he is building a healthy record against Rangers, so if he continues that, then those critics will soon go away.
