But it took just over 13 minutes for the former Arsenal man to make an instant impression as Martin O’Neill gushed over Oxlade-Chamberlain’s Celtic goal post-match.

But it was what Celtic’s Unique Angle camera captured that shows just how much that goal meant as O’Neill leapt into the air as soon as the ball hit the back of the net.

O’Neill can be very animated on the Celtic touchline. In fact, the Hoops boss was famous for his celebrations in his first spell at the club over 25 years ago.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has immediately captured the hearts and minds of the Celtic support after his superb late winner against Livingston.
And reacting to his debut Celtic goal, Oxlade-Chamberlain said, “I was drawing that one up in the hotel room earlier! They’re the things you dream of, still at this stage, later on in my career…
“Moments like that… it’s why we play this game and you never get bored of stuff like that.
“I’m just delighted that the club’s given me the chance to be back on the pitch, put a bit of faith in me to have moments like that.”
