Vincent Kompany will take his Bayern Munich side to Glasgow this week in the Champions League.
Celtic learned they would face the Bundesliga giants after having a glamour tie confirmed for their knockout playoff.
Kompany previewed the clash by demanding a “hot” energy between the two sides.
The Belgian coach also explained how Celtic differ from his outfit’s regular league opponents as they bring a change of pace and structure at Parkhead under Brendan Rodgers.

Vincent Kompany says Celtic Park is ‘special’
Now the 38-year-old has revealed what he is excited about from Bayern’s tie against the Hoops under the lights at Celtic Park.
Kompany played at the stadium as a kid at Anderlecht but was in the stands for Manchester City when the two put on a game for the ages in a 3-3 draw back in 2016.
He was able to soak in the atmosphere on both occasions and he reckons Celtic fans put on the loudest show for their side as well as to intimidate their opponents.
That, for Kompany, should be a motivation for his squad to show up and dampen what will be a “special” game inside a cauldron of noise.
What Kompany said about facing Celtic in an intense environment
“It’s certainly going to be special for us and for the fans,” he said.
“Celtic Park, in my experience, it was one of the loudest stadiums I ever played in. We can enjoy the atmosphere.
“There was a lot of talk about the two extra games added to the schedule, but now everyone is looking forward to it.
“These kind of games are special, they are great opportunities to feel something very special.
“I’m happy to live through these moments. It will be an amazing Champions League night.”
Thomas Muller has been buzzing for the action as he, too, hailed the atmosphere under the disco lights.
Serge Gnabry and Joshua Kimmich spoke about the same thing with the former ready to experience it all.
