Celtic fans are now at the end of their tether after watching Wilfried Nancy’s fourth defeat in a row against Dundee United.

Dundee United beat a meek Celtic side who, after a decent first half, collapsed in a second half performance that was simply embarrassing.

A first half strike from Daizen Maeda put Celtic into an early lead and, in truth, the game should have been over by the time the teams went in at half time.

Johnny Kenny and Maeda missed a couple of sitters as Celtic toiled to find that elusive second goal to help put the game to bed.

What would your message be to Wilfried Nancy?

Dundee United rallied after the break and Celtic crumbled as two goals in quick succession resigned Nancy to yet another defeat.

And at full time, the travelling Celtic support let the attending board members know exactly how they felt as Nancy’s players made their way off the Tannadice pitch.

Celtic fan anger boils over as Michael Nicholson & Co get the message

Immediately after full time as the Celtic players trudged off the pitch, fan anger boiled over and the message that was sent to Michael Nicholson, Chris McKay and Brian Wilson was crystal clear.

Have a watch of this:

The Celtic board are lurching from one disaster to the next and after the defeat to Dundee United, the pressure on Nancy and the suits has seriously ramped up.

The Celtic board need to look at their own conduct

Wilfried Nancy was under tremendous pressure heading into the Dundee United game and the Celtic board did not help.

The announcement of Peter Lawwell’s Celtic exit was horrible timing for Nancy as he prepared his team to take to the Tannadice pitch.

That announcement could have waited until today or later in the week so as to not distract the Hoops boss from what lay ahead.

The board need to look at themselves and ask did they really give Nancy the best opportunity to take Celtic to Dundee United to potentially save the season?
