Celtic hero Joe Hart is enjoying a successful career in the media right now.
Hart enjoyed many Champions League nights between the sticks at Celtic Park under Ange Postecoglou and Brendan Rodgers over his three years at Parkhead.
Now retired, the former England international goalkeeper has experienced a new seat at Parkhead as Hart continues his career outside Celtic in the media doing co-commentary duty for TNT Sports.
Speaking before last week’s Champions League tie against Bayern Munich at Celtic Park, the Hoops hero explained in a hilarious TikTok via TNT Sports how he ‘learned a lesson’ in his fledgling career in the Parkhead gantry.
Joe Hart’s superb video shows the commentary gantry at Celtic Park
Hart said on TNT Sports, “So the whole game, this will be me. I love to be stood, love to be feeling it, peering around, it’s great to see what’s going on the TV, but I want to know exactly what’s going on.
“Often, the camera’s following the ball, there’s stuff going on off the ball it’s an all-round experience.
“I learned a lesson in the last game that I drank too much and I needed the toilet, and there’s no, I don’t know if you can see on this camera, but there’s nowhere to run and there’s certainly nowhere to do it so that was quite a painful last 20 minutes.
“The legs were crossed.”
Joe Hart’s passion for Celtic still shines through
Hart had built up a real affinity for Celtic and the fans over his three years at the club.
Winning seven trophies out of nine, it’s incredible to think that Hart also won a treble in just his second season at the club.
Now in commentary, Celtic fans are loving Joe Hart as he continues to support and promote Scottish football and the champions whilst remaining professional at all times.
Hopefully, Hart will enjoy another great European night even though it won’t be in that famous Illumuninoius Celtic goalkeeping jersey.
