Celtic’s latest transfer link has suggested that Ange Postecoglou is once again keen to delve into a more unknown transfer market.
Reports coming from the Scottish media have suggested that the Bhoys could be targeting South Korean international striker Cho Gue-sung.
The 24-year-old is currently performing at the World Cup for his nation and has come off the back of a good season at Jeonbuk and Gimcheon Sangmu in his homeland.

After scoring twice for South Korea against Ghana on Monday, European interest is starting to arise in the 6ft 2 striker.
And Celtic appear to be one of the clubs interested in bringing Cho Gue-sung, with Ange Postecoglou looking to use his knowledge of the Asian market.
Of course, the former Socceroos boss has history of shopping in many different markets, including across Europe and this summer in South America.
One market the 57-year-old has also had success in is the Asian market, bringing five players to Parkhead from the J-League, and that is in part thanks to his time spent with Yokohama F Marinos.
Although all his signings from Asia have come from the Japanese league, the Celtic manager has previously spoken out about wanting to dive into other leagues in that continent, including Korea.
Speaking to the media last December, Postecoglou hinted about using his knowledge of the markets across the globe, and we could see him utilise that in January.

He said [The Scotsman]: “I don’t want to say that! Because everyone will go there and start looking. I’m obviously at an advantage because I worked there. It would be silly of me not to use the experience I have and the knowledge I have.
“That’s why we got Kyogo here. I was 100 per cent certain he would do well. And it’s not just Kyogo. If you look at all the big leagues around the world, you’ll see Asian players.
“Not just from Japan but from Korea, from Australia, from Iran. There are some very good footballers on that side of the world. But if people don’t want to look there, I’m happy to be the only one.”
Ange Postecoglou looking to be one step ahead as he eyes latest transfer moves.
With the direction modern football has headed, it is arguably harder than ever to compete at the top level in the UEFA Champions League.
So, for clubs like Celtic, it is about being one step ahead in order to gain your advantage by looking into more untouched leagues across the globe.

So far, Ange Postecoglou has done that successfully, bringing talents such as Kyogo Furuhashi and Reo Hatate to the club, and they have undoubtedly proved to be excellent additions.
The Celtic boss will be well aware that there are plenty of more markets that the club can delve into across the world, and the Hoops’ latest transfer link appears to suggest he is doing exactly that.
It is certainly exciting to see the club take these sorts of steps by bringing talented players from an underrated and undervalued transfer market.
Of course, with Cho Gue-sung starring on the globe’s biggest stage at the World Cup, there is bound to be plenty of interest from Europe.
But either way, with Ange Postecoglou in charge at the club, you can see the Bhoys shopping in these markets a lot more often, with the Celtic manager eyeing up talent from across the world.
