It seems now that with international duty in full swing and the fact that Ange Postecoglou has left Celtic to join Spurs, the Hoops players are now speaking freely about the Australian’s move to London.
Kyogo Furuhashi and Daizen Maeda have already had their say whilst in the Japan camp. Now, it’s the turn of Hyeongyu Oh.
The Celtic striker is away with South Korea and was assessing his season for the club where he won a treble and revealed what he told Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min about his new gaffer.

Oh said [News MT], “Personally, I wasn’t good enough. Looking back, I thought I could have done better. I think I can do a better job next season.
“Son Heung-min asked me what the manager’s [Postecoglou] style is. He asked me a lot of things that I emphasise, such as the style of play.
“To be honest, I’ve only been with the coach for half a year. I don’t know him in-depth, but I know he’s tactically brilliant. I believe he will be successful.” [translated by Deep L]
Oh’s comments on his season are surprising. Despite his limited minutes on the pitch, he has contributed well to Celtic’s success this season.

I guess the positive we can take from this is that he is setting a standard for next season. It looks like he has the aim of pushing Kyogo for that first-team slot.
Looking at how he finished off the season in style with a double against Aberdeen on Trophy Day, he certainly has the quality to do it.
But for now, Oh will be looking to impress on international duty. Manager, Jurgen Klinsmann was already impressed with what he saw in the last international break, let’s hope the 22-year-old striker cab build on those performances with a goal this time around.
