Wilfried Nancy faces a tough start to life at Celtic.
After a perfect domestic run under Martin O’Neill, the team now faces three crucial games in three different competitions.
Nancy must blend his own ideas with what has been working well, in a delicate balancing act.
Reading about his formation at Columbus, and his conceptual brand of possession-based football, it’s easy to worry that this could be a rough transition.
So is Nancy worried? He discussed this in his first address to Celtic fans.

It’s a daunting start – Nancy, speaking to Celtic TV, was brutally honest on how he’s going to approach it.
He said: “Yes, I thought about it, and it’s going to be new for me. I’ll be honest with you.
“This is the first time I’ve had a situation like this happen. But I’m confident and humble at the same time, because first of all, humility for me is something I’ve done before.
“I evaluated everything, to try now to add nuances. Not to change everything, and after that be patient – knowing that patience in my job doesn’t exist – but at the same time, clarity with the players.
“And this is the most important. After that, yes, we have a concept, yes, we believe that this is the right way to do it.
“So we’re gonna do it, we’re gonna start tomorrow. The idea is to bring this kind of clarity, and after that, we’ll see.
