Wilfried Nancy will undoubtedly be looking forward to getting his new Celtic career up and running.
The Frenchman will take training at Lennoxtown after watching Celtic beat Dundee to go top of the league this week.
With Hearts up next for Nancy, the new Celtic boss will already have an idea of what he needs to do to get more out of a Hoops team who have been revived under Martin O’Neill.
The first thing Nancy will have learned is that the Celtic fan feud with the board must be resolved sooner rather than later.
Nancy will surely not be keen on beginning his Celtic career with fans at war with the Parkhead executives and that must be one of the things that the former Columbus Crew boss has learned.
However, here are the other four things from the five Nancy will have learned as Martin O’Neill bows out at Celtic with an unbeaten domestic record under his belt and clawed back the eight-point gap to Hearts.

Daizen Maeda and Hyunjun Yang can easily fit into Celtic boss Nancy’s system
Scoring the first goal against Dundee, Daizen Maeda showed some superb bravery to put his head into a dangerous position to knock in his sixth goal of the season.
The Japanese striker had to be taken off for a spell after the clash of heads split Maeda’s head open but the hardy forward returned to action sporting a huge bandage for the rest of the match.
Who was your Celtic MOTM vs Dundee?
Hyunjun Yang looks like a new player at Celtic. Refreshed under Martin O’Neill, the South Korean played a huge part in the Hoops’ opening goal as his darting runs caused Dundee a whole host of problems.
Nancy will undoubtedly earmark both of these players as ones who can help him build more success at the club and as two players who can easily fit into his 3-4-3 system.

Colby Donovan is the first Celtic Academy youngster Nancy must develop
Colby Donovan has already shown he has what it takes to cope with the weight of the Celtic jersey.
However, with Nancy’s reputation of developing young players preceding him, Donovan must be one of the first players on the new Celtic boss’ list to work with.
Donovan was excellent in Celtic’s win at Feyenoord and superb against Sturm Graz, the young Hoops defender will have undoubtedly impressed his new boss.
Does the new Celtic boss need another left fullback?
Nancy will be wary that Marcelo Saracchi was taken off for the second time this season at Celtic Park.
With Kieran Tierney his only other viable option considering Hayato Inamura has only featured twice this season at Celtic, and not at all under Martin O’Neill.
Unless Nancy believes he can get a tune out of the Japanese defender, the new Celtic gaffer may well need to look at other options to help bolster that position on the pitch considering Tierney himself has his own fitness issues.
With Hearts dropping more points at Tynecastle, Nancy has also learned that this Celtic team he has inherited definitely has the bottle for a title fight.
Derek McInnes’ side however, seems to have crumbled.
