Most Celtic supporters have now accepted that Wilfried Nancy’s time at the club is now up ahead of the weekend’s game against Rangers.
Celtic’s defeat to Motherwell is yet another result that has highlighted just how disastrous Nancy’s start at the Bhoys has been.
Five defeats in seven games with 15 goals conceded and ten scored is not a run of results befitting any Celtic manager as Nancy appears to have underestimated the size of the job he has undertaken.
And as this site called time on Nancy’s spell at Celtic, the Hoops boss has directly addressed a question about his future at the club ahead of the Glasgow Derby game against Rangers.

Wilfried Nancy ‘confident’ he can turn Celtic’s fortunes around
Nancy’s Celtic looked toothless and out of ideas against a Motherwell side who looked well drilled, confident and dangerous every time they had the ball.
And when asked if he thinks he can improve Celtic moving forward, Nancy was defiant.
Nancy told The Herald, “Yes, I’m confident [to turn things around] because, again, I had to make choices tonight regarding the team that I made.
“Also, we have a few players away regarding the situation. So, again, I’m confident with where we want to go.
Where does Wilfried Nancy go from here?
“The reality is, for the moment, this is for this game. This was a tough game. It was difficult for us in this game. But I think that we’re going to get better.”
Wilfried Nancy has no Celtic sack fears if defeated by Rangers
Celtic fans are fearing the worst ahead of the Parkhead Glasgow Derby and many on social media are predicting a heavy defeat.
When asked if a defeat to Rangers will have an impact on his Celtic future, Nancy replied, “No, not at all. Each game for me is important, and for the team is important.
“I don’t think about my future. I think about what I do now and what I need to do to improve the team and what we need to do also to improve the team.
“This is the way I think.”
Look, we get it, Nancy has to come out swinging. What manager would admit that losing to their biggest rivals will cost them their job, let alone a Celtic manager.
But I’m afraid that if Nancy does lose against Rangers at Celtic Park, the Frenchman will not get the chance to spend any of that £77m swirling in the Parkhead bank account. The fans simply will not allow it.
