Celtic fans love nothing more than seeing Rangers struggle after, of course, watching their own team lift silverware.
Celtic supporters enjoy watching their team successfully dominate Scottish football but the icing on the cake is also watching their biggest rivals struggle in all competitions.
As it stands right now, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is on course to collect another domestic trebke as the Ibrox club finish the Scottish season trophyless.
And as the Celtic fans enjoy the bragging rites for the fourth season in a row, Andy Walker has made a questionable claim after the former Parkhead striker reveals what many of the Parkhead support are saying about Rangers.

Andy Walker claims ‘a lot of Celtic supporters’ want a strong Rangers
With the gap to Rangers currently at 15 points, Celtic will win the league if they pick up at least a point in the next Scottish Premiership fixture against Dundee United.
In truth, the league was over a long time ago which prompted Walker to reveal conversations he claims to have had with many Celtic fans and what they think about the state of Rangers.
Walker told The Go Radio Football Show, “I’ve got family and friends that loved last season when it was nip and tuck. And actually, at one point late in the season, Rangers were favourites.
“And Celtic, you know, they won it in the end. And the drama of that, the excitement of that, I think it makes it extra special. Of course, you want to win the title in any circumstance.
“And Celtic have skated it this season. They have been very good. Rangers have been very average.
“But yeah, I speak to a lot of Celtic supporters who would love to see a stronger Rangers, but obviously want their team to succeed in that.”
James McPake makes claim about Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers and Rangers
Not to be outdone, former Dundee manager James McPake agreed with Walker but went one step further.
Seemingly now speaking for Brendan Rodgers, McPake claims the Celtic boss would also want a stronger Rangers.
McPake added, “We need two good teams in Glasgow that are really pushing each other. That’s when we’ve seen some of the best [title fights]. We can all remember the ones going back where it was one with a goal here or there.
“And those title races, it’s not been the case for the past 12 or 13 years. But the fact is Celtic are so far ahead at the minute.
“But for Scottish football, we could be doing with a stronger Rangers to go and challenge Celtic. And I’m sure Brendan Rodgers would say the very same.”
There seems to be a strange narrative doing the rounds that all of a sudden Celtic needs a strong Rangers.
They don’t. Celtic simply needs more competition in Scotland and whether that comes from Rangers is irrelevant as Aberdeen’s strong start to the season proved.
If the Pittodrie club can kick on, strengthen and mount a serious challenge next season, the vast majority of Celtic fans would want that rather than simply going for a lazy narrative of Scottish football needing a stronger Rangers.
After all, this wasn’t spoken about when Celtic were struggling in the 90s, was it?
