It’s the big one. Celtic’s trip to Rangers is on our doorstep, and a lot is riding on this blockbuster Premiership encounter.

Some are suggesting that whoever loses this Glasgow derby will drop out of the title race, with Hearts still leading the charge at the top, as Martin O’Neill and Danny Rohl try to chase down the Jambos.

But who will come out on top at Ibrox? The 67 Hail Hail writers have had their say, and Celtic have been unanimously backed to pick up three points, including Tomas Cvancara helping himself to a brace.

Form and past performances go out of the window for games like this. It is absolutely massive, and it is all about who can hold their nerve. Winning the midfield battle will be key, and Martin O’Neill will ensure that this happens.

Going for a 2-0 Celtic win.

What changes would you make to Callum’s predicted XI to face Rangers? 🤔

The win in Stuttgart will give Celtic a big boost ahead of the Ibrox trip. Rohl showed signs of being rattled this week after his response to Luke McCowan’s comments about Celtic being the best team in the country when at their best. Is the pressure of his first title race getting to the Rangers boss? Prediction: Rangers 1 v 2 Celtic.

Yes, Celtic got knocked out of the Europa League in midweek, but the 1-0 win on the road was a surprise, and further proof that O’Neill is still churning out results, even though these players are no longer good enough.

This is going to be an ugly game at Ibrox. An old-school scrap, and it will suit the way Celtic have been playing under O’Neill. Lack of control. Lots of chances at both ends. But getting the desired result without playing well.

Just like the Parkhead game in January, there will be goals in this. 3-2 win for Celtic, with Cvancara netting a brace, and Maeda getting on the scoresheet.
