Craig Bellamy will be delighted with who Celtic are about to sign in the summer transfer market

Craig Bellamy’s spell at Celtic was short-lived, but it was still one of success.

The former striker was as passionate as they come on the field of play, as he represented the likes of Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City during his playing career.

Bellamy’s Celtic stint saw him help the club win the Scottish Cup, as well as scoring the winning goal against Rangers in the Glasgow derby.

But now, he has taken that passion and transcended it onto the touchline, as he bids to reach enormous heights as a manager.

Therefore, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Bellamy has started well as Wales’ manager, losing only once in ten games so far, and that was a 4-3 loss to Belgium in a World Cup qualifier, where they came back from 3-0 down, only to lose at the death to a Kevin de Bruyne goal.

But the next man through Celtic’s door this summer could be part of Bellamy’s young and vibrant team next term.

Callum Osmand close to securing Celtic transfer

After Kyogo Furuhashi’s January exit, Celtic are in search of another striker, and they could be going down a familiar route.

Moussa Dembele was famously signed as a teenager from Fulham, and the rest is history with that transfer, as Callum Osmand could be the next one making that move.

Celtic are closing in on Osmand’s signature, with the 19-year-old yet to feature for Fulham’s senior side.

Osmand’s chances under Craig Bellamy for rejuvenated Wales

Osmand was born in Wales and has represented the younger age groups at an international level, as he continues to work his way up the ladder.

You just know that, if Osmand signs for Celtic, then that senior cap for Wales is around the corner, especially with the 2026 World Cup on the horizon.

Another attacking option would delight Bellamy, and he isn’t like Scotland boss Steve Clarke, who is reluctant to give the young guns a chance.

Bellamy will throw the youngsters in, and his no-fear style will be perfect for Osmand’s development, as well as working with someone like Brendan Rodgers.
