Celtic’s Scottish Cup clash against Auchinleck Talbot at the weekend spoke volumes.
Unfortunately, all for the wrong reasons, despite Celtic beating the sixth-tier side and booking their ticket into the next round.
Michel-Ange Balikwisha was a man who took a lot of heat after he produced another worrying performance, this time against even lesser opposition.
Many can’t see a future for Balikwisha at Celtic, but whilst the writing is on the wall for the DR Congo star, you can also add Shin Yamada to that list – both players were signed just last summer.

Name three players you would sell in the current Celtic side

Shin Yamada’s Celtic career is over before it started
As expected, Martin O’Neill rang the changes against Auchinleck Talbot, with several fringe players, from Balikwisha to Paulo Bernardo, starting.
Johnny Kenny was handed the centre-forward role, and he opened the scoring just after half an hour.
The fact that Yamada wasn’t named in the XI isn’t a good look for the player because he has only made one start since joining from Kawasaki Frontale in the summer.
But to make matters worse, O’Neill only brought him onto the pitch with three minutes left on the clock.
Remember, Celtic are looking for a striker, yet here is one, hardly earning minutes, even against a sixth-tier side.
If that doesn’t hint that Yamada’s career in Glasgow is over before it even started, then nothing will.
Don’t get it wrong, Yamada has been poorly treated. Only 243 minutes in the Premiership, and at times, hardly even making the bench.
Added to that, if Celtic get that striker in before the January transfer window shuts, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if Yamada heads for the exit door at the same time.
