Wilfried Nancy has a difficult first game in charge as the new Celtic manager.
Nancy was confirmed by Celtic on Wednesday and has begun work at the Hoops already.
The first snaps of the Frenchman arriving at Celtic were dropped, with the focus now turning towards the top of the table clash against Hearts on Sunday 7 December.
A win would see the Bhoys leapfrog their opponents and go into the festive period in pole position.
There is only a short turnaround between the two games and ahead of the 48-year-old’s first game in charge, 67 Hail Hail has named three things that Nancy must do against the Jambos.
Should Wilfried Nancy immediately implement his preferred 3-4-3 formation at Celtic?
Don’t tweak too much
We are expecting a very different style to what we saw under Brendan Rodgers and Martin O’Neill, but that will come with time.
Between now and Sunday, the Hoops won’t have much time on the training pitch to implement new ideas and understand the philosophies.
Domestically, Celtic are on their best run of form this season and making wholesale changes so quickly could disrupt the rhythm of the XI.
Get three points
It might sound simple, but winning is always a good start. Especially given the circumstances around how important the game is.
There will no doubt be some tension in the stands in the run-up to kick-off, and three points would certainly be lift-off.
Morale is high after the successful O’Neill period, and Nancy can continue that to build his own legacy.
What do you think the score will be in Wilfried Nancy’s first game in charge?
Get the strikers firing
While O’Neill won seven of his eight games in charge, there were still some things that can be improved.
Celtic have been wasteful in front of goal on some occasions and even though some key faces are out injured, there is enough quality for the Bhoys to be scoring more goals.
Those playing should be out for revenge after losing to Derek McInnes’ side in the previous meeting and now the current league leaders are feeling the heat after dropping points, it’s time for the attackers to prove they can step up.
