Celtic have been handed one of the toughest draws they could have asked for in the Scottish Cup.

A Glasgow derby is the highlight of the draw as Celtic will face Rangers in the quarter-finals.

Playing our fierce rivals isn’t anything new and we have been used to some battles at Hampden Park in the past.

Celtic fell to defeat in Scottish Cup quarter-final vs Rangers in 2021

You have to go back to 2021 when the two teams met in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.

It wasn’t to be for Celtic that day as the Hoops were beaten 2-0.

Goals from Steven Davis and an own goal from Jonjoe Kenny condemned the Bhoys to a terrible day out and add to a miserable season that resulted in their rivals winning the league.

Celtic’s most iconic Scottish Cup moment vs Rangers

There have been some memorable results in the competition against Rangers, but one moment in 2011 will always stand out.

The celebration was hailed as the ‘Broony’ and has become one of the iconic celebrations over the years.
