The ongoing Celtic chat about Adam Idah making a permanent summer return to the club has taken a giant leap forward after the striker made his intentions clear to Norwich City.
The Republic of Ireland enjoyed a temporary spell in Paradise after joining Celtic on loan in the January window as he helped Brendan Rodgers successfully defend the league title and the Scottish Cup.
Important and high-pressured goals against Hibs, Motherwell and Rangers made Idah an instant fan favourite and the Celtic supporters are desperate to see him back at Parkhead permanently.
A popular player in the Celtic dressing room and with progress on a deal between Celtic and Norwich City already being made, the 22-year-old has made it clear to the Championship club where he sees his immediate future this summer.
Adma Idah ‘informed’ Norwich he wants Celtic switch
Celtic made an official approach for Idah less than a week ago and as the clubs continue to haggle on a deal, according to journalist, Pete O’Rourke, the young striker has told Norwich he wants a summer switch to the Scottish champions.
The Celtic fans will be delighted with this update as, up until now, there was pretty much nothing but silence from Idah’s camp regarding a move to Celtic.
In 19 games since January, Idah’s nine goals have proven that he can produce the goods when it matters, especially when the pressure is on.

The Norwich striker has also produced on the international stage with the Republic of Ireland with goals against Hungary, New Zealand, the Netherlands and Gibraltar.
With Kyogo Furuhashi the only recognised striker at the club, adding Idah will provide not only cover for the Japanese international but also some much-needed competition as Hyeongyu Oh looks to be on his way out of Paradise this summer.
