Lennon Miller has all the talent in the world and that’s why Celtic are looking closely at him.
Celtic bid for Miller back in January only to have Motherwell refuse to sit down at the negotiating table to provide their asking price.
It was a move which didn’t happen but might still with Celtic remaining keen on the midfield youngster who has done well with the Steelmen including captaining them to a cup semi-final this term.
Andy Halliday claims Miller wouldn’t play at Celtic Park as the former Rangers player’s agenda was on full display as he attempted to spook the player into remaining at Fir Park while ignoring Celts.
But now another former ‘Well player has shot down Halliday’s suggestion on Open Goal by insisting Miller would be able to compete with Callum McGregor’s engine room partners for plenty of minutes if he made the move.

Ross McCormack says Lennon Miller would play at Celtic
Ross McCormack believes Miller is talented enough to play for the Scottish Premiership giants who currently hold a 13 point lead at the top of the division having also competed in the Champions League and won a cup.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 31 | 25 | 3 | 3 | 92 | 20 | 72 | 78 | |
| 2 | 31 | 20 | 5 | 6 | 66 | 31 | 35 | 65 | |
| 3 | 31 | 12 | 11 | 8 | 48 | 41 | 7 | 47 | |
| 4 | 31 | 13 | 7 | 11 | 42 | 47 | -5 | 46 | |
| 5 | 31 | 12 | 8 | 11 | 39 | 40 | -1 | 44 |
And minutes wouldn’t be a worry if he goes to Parkhead. “It’s going to depend on what offers are on the table,” McCormack said. “I don’t see why not.
“I believe that if (Callum) McGregor isn’t ready to go, I believe Lennon Miller could get in one of the other two places [in midfield]. So he will get enough games at Celtic.
“I don’t really see him as a sitting number six.”
Miller’s Motherwell stats see Celtic move ‘making sense’
Miller would certainly be one for the future at Celtic Park as, still just 18-years-old, he still has some growing to do.
That is, in physical and emotional terms, despite the playmaker seemingly having a strong head on his shoulders.
Miller’s season so far earned him a Scotland call-up in the most recent international break and at his young age that should be considered a serious feather in his cap.
He has four goals and six assists from 32 appearances this season and that would definitely have been more had it not been for an injury he suffered earlier in the schedule.
Miller has been urged to join Celtic by pundits including John Hartson while even a current teammate of his at Motherwell, Stephen O’Donnell, discussed why a Hoops move “makes sense”.
