There has been a lot of transfer noise around Celtic’s name in recent weeks.

The 2025 summer transfer window officially opened on June 16, and Brendan Rodgers already has two senior faces through the door.

There seems to be a bit of a theme from Celtic, because everyone loves a comeback, and that’s why Kieran Tierney and goalkeeper Ross Doohan are back in the green and white colours.

The champions of Scotland have confirmed those two deals, including interviews dropping with the returning Bhoys stars.

Everyone has already heard from Tierney after he re-joined from Arsenal, as Doohan also had his say about why he re-joined from Aberdeen on Tuesday.

Bojan Miovski reacts to Celtic re-signing Ross Doohan

One man who shared a dressing room with Doohan was Bojan Miovski – he spent two seasons in the Scottish Premiership playing for Aberdeen.

The hitman, who is now playing for La Liga side Girona, sent a message to Doohan when he commented on his return to Celtic on Instagram.

But before that, this is what Doohan posted on his socials after his club media interviews were released.

‘Buzzing to be back, can’t wait to get started @celticfc 🍀💚’, wrote Doohan.

Miovski posted in the comments section of Doohan’s IG post: ‘Good luck, Brate. 🚀’

Doohan’s stats for Aberdeen in 2024/25

Celtic already have two outstanding keepers in Kasper Schmeichel – who is the number one – and Viljami Sinisalo – the back-up choice.

That puts Doohan as third-choice, and you can’t really see any of that changing, even though he has signed for Celtic.

Even though the Scotland star played 18 games for the Dons last season, it was only when first-choice Dimitar Mitov was injured.

If Kasper gets injured for Celtic, like he did last season, then you don’t expect anything to change other than Sinisalo coming in to replace him.
