Callum McGregor has sent Brendan Rodgers a message after rumours linked the Celtic skipper to join his old gaffer Al Qasidah.
The Hoops skipper has been at Parkhead for almost all of his career as McGregor becomes one of Celtic’s most decorated players of all time.
As rumours linked McGregor with a Celtic exit to Saudi, fans would have been worried about losing their captain at a time where the squad needs strengthening.
Are Celtic too reliant on Callum McGregor? Let us know…
Well no, the Celtic legend has spoken out and addressed those whispers as McGregor sends Rodgers a clear message.

Callum McGregor ‘determined’ to stay at Celtic
Celtic fans can now relax as McGregor tells Brendan Rodgers he’s ‘determined’ to stay at the club and fight for the Scottish Premiership title.
McGregor told The Daily Mail, “No, no, I’m here. Even more determined [to stay at Celtic]. Even more, because of what’s happened.
“We’ve had a difficult spell, we’re used to winning, then things don’t go your way.
“So, now you have to show everyone that you want to be a winner and you want to stay and you want to fight, and you want to make the club successful.
“Yeah, that’s the message.”
Celtic’s next five crucial Scottish Premiership fixtures
Celtic’s fixture schedule continues to be hectic as Martin O’Neill looks to get every last ounce out of his squad to defend the title.
Still six points behind Hearts, but third in the league, here are the Bhoys’ next five fixtures which will play a crucial part in the title race.

Looking at all the home fixtures, Celtic should come out of those with maximum points. However, tricky away trips to Aberdeen and Kilmarnock could be potential banana skins.
O’Neill knows he cannot afford any more dropped points and with just 15 games to go, the number of games available is slowly dwindling down.
