Transfer talk seems to be the order of the day for the Celtic fans as the excitement starts to build around Adam Idah making a permanent move to Celtic Park.
The Norwich City striker has been rumoured to return to Parkhead all summer and now that a £9.5m deal has been agreed, the Celtic fans will be hoping that this will signal more transfer movement before the window closes next month.
And that does seem to be the case now that Celtic are said to have approached Liverpool for one of their highly-rated youngsters this week.
Celtic ask Liverpool about Owen Beck
According to Football Scotland, Celtic have asked Liverpool how much Owen Beck will cost this summer as Rodgers looks to bolster his backline.
The 22-year-old was first linked to Celtic back in January but a report in The Times claimed that the advances of the club were ‘thwarted’ after Beck’s performances on loan at Dundee caught Celtic’s eye.
The youngster has only made three first-team appearances for the Premier League giants but on two separate loan spells at Dundee and Bolton, he has featured 28 and nine times respectively.

The latest report on Beck to Celtic suggested that the Parkhead club were still interested in the Welsh U21 international defender and now, it seems, that Celtic has taken that interest one step further.
The left-back is contracted to the Anfield club until 2026 but are open to offers for the Welshman.
This is the third Liverpool youngster Celtic have been linked to after reports suggested that Bobby Clark and Ben Doak were linked with a potential loan move to the club.
Brendan Rodgers seems to be turning the transfer screw and the Celtic fans will be hopeful that some more new arrivals won’t be too far away from arriving at Celtic Park in the very near future.
