Celtic look set for a busy end to the transfer window.
The Hoops have signed eight players this summer and aren’t stopping there, with Brendan Rodgers keen to bolster the attacking department.
It was reported over the weekend that Celtic were given the green light to sign Michel-Ange Balikwisha to bring an end to over 12 months of speculation.
Other targets are also being pursued and one looks set to move on before the 1 September deadline.

Kalidou Sidibe likely to leave Guingamp amid Celtic links
As well as looking for wingers and strikers, midfielders have also been on the list of possible targets, including Kalidou Sidibe, who has been linked in the past.
The 26-year-old, who plays for Ligue 2 side Guingamp, and according to Le Telegramme, is one of three players that could leave before the deadline.
Sidibe is valued at £1.7m but is still playing for Guingamp as his future continues to rumble on.
There has been no mention of Celtic leading the race to sign the midfielder, but it is one to keep an eye on.
Who is Kalidou Sidibe?
Sidibe is a 26-year-old midfielder who plays for Ligue 2 side Guingamp.
He would be one of the tallest players in the squad if he were to join Celtic, standing at six feet and seven inches tall.
Back in May 2025, Sidibe’s manager Sylvain Ripoll told Le Telegramme that he wasn’t surprised that his star man wanted to play.
“I’d hope so, but I’m not fooled either,” said Ripoll. “They probably want to see what’s going on there.
“They only have one year left on their contracts.
“As long as their interests are protected, the club will listen.”
