The very latest Celtic transfer news this Friday morning as we deliver updates on Ross Doohan, Kyogo Furuhashi, Scott Bain, Jeffrey Schlupp and Tobi Oluwayemi.

Ross Doohan’s Aberdeen exit confirmed
It was news we expected, but now it’s been rubber-stamped by the Dons. Aberdeen confirmed yesterday that goalkeeper Ross Doohan has left the club.
His contract expired and it now leaves Celtic’s path clear to negotiate his signing, with Brendan Rodgers keen on recruiting Doohan on a free transfer.
He is expected to replace Scott Bain after Celtic’s announcement on Thursday.
Scott Bain leaves Celtic after seven years
Bain will depart Paradise after seven years at the club. He joined under Rodgers in 2018 from Dundee, initially as an emergency loan.
He then signed permanently and was quite content with being a back-up goalkeeper in Celtic’s first-team squad under Neil Lennon, Ange Postecoglou and Rodgers again.
Bain told the official Celtic website: “I am really sad, of course, to be leaving the club but I am so thankful, too, for everything the club has given me.
“I have enjoyed my time at Celtic massively and it has been a huge honour to be part of the biggest and best club in the country.
“I would like to thank the gaffer and all the other managers I’ve worked with, my many team-mates over the years and all the staff at Celtic.
“I’ve made some great friends at Celtic and will always be supporting the club in everything it does. The Celtic fans are the best around and I thank them for all the support I have been given by them too.
“I wish the club and our supporters nothing but success for the future.”
Kyogo’s Stade Rennais want to trim their squad
Stade Rennais chairman Arnaud Pouille wants to see the club’s first-team squad trimmed this summer.
It is a hint that Kyogo will be let go by the French club after a disastrous spell that saw him make just six appearances without scoring a single goal.
Pouille said: “We’ll need fewer contracts and more knowledge of Ligue 1. We want a training squad of 22 players, plus three goalkeepers.”
Jeffrey Schlupp’s Crystal Palace exit confirmed
FA Cup holders Crystal Palace have waved goodbye to left-back Jeffrey Schlupp, who spent the latter half of the season on loan at Celtic.
Schlupp first joined the Selhurst Park side in January 2017 and went on to make 247 appearances in blue and red.
He is leaving Palace following the expiration of his contract. Sky Sports have reported that Schlupp has been in talks with Celtic over possibly signing for the Hoops permanently.
Celtic goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi addresses his future
Young Celtic stopper Tobi Oluwayemi has told the Dunfermline Press that he is unsure over a return to the Scottish Championship club.
Oluwayemi spent last season on loan at Dunfermline Athletic and kept 12 clean sheets across 34 appearances.
Asked about a possible return to Neil Lennon’s Pars, he replied: “I don’t know, honestly.
“As a player, you just focus on where you are and what you have to do, and you leave all the things up to the people that make the decisions, ultimately.
“I’ve still got a bit of time left at Celtic, but ultimately we’ll just see how things go.”
