Gustaf Lagerbielke set for Braga medical

Celtic defender Gustaf Lagerbielke is set to undergo a medical ahead of a permanent transfer to Portuguese side Braga.

That’s according to Aftonbladet, who claim the Hoops and Braga are also very close to agreeing a transfer fee for the Swede.

Braga launched an opening bid of £1.7m for Lagerbielke, but the cost may differ from that upon completion of the deal.

Como near Jayden Addai signing

Fabrizio Romano and Gianluca Di Marzio have reported that AZ Alkmaar’s Jayden Addai will move to Serie A outfit Como.

Como want two wingers this summer, with Jesus Rodriguez from Real Betis already secured. Now, Addai will seemingly join him.

Celtic and Como could not come to an agreement over a fee, so it may be that the Italians will go on to pursue other targets.

But Di Marzio warned that Como could restart talks to sign Kuhn later in the transfer window.

Celtic’s Daizen Maeda uncertain about next season

Celtic star Daizen Maeda has admitted that he isn’t sure what next season will bring for him.

Maeda is on Brentford’s transfer radar this summer, while Fenerbahce have also been linked with the Japanese machine.

Speaking after a training session with his old club Mito HollyHock, Maeda explained: “I was able to train in a great environment with a good team who are currently at the top of the league (J2 League).

“I don’t know what the new season will bring for me, but first, I want to get in shape at their training camp. I felt ok, but I think I still have a long way to go.

“It was an enjoyable session. Mito are a great team and there is a good atmosphere in the camp. I really hope they win promotion.”

Seven Celtic kids sign professional contracts
