Exciting Serbian teenager linked with Celtic will leave club

Celtic have been exploring the Serbian transfer market this summer after the Bhoys were linked with Veljko Milosavljevic of Red Star Belgrade earlier this year.

Talks about the 17-year-old have died down but reports have claimed that Cukaricki midfielder Andrej Bacanin is of interest to Celtic.

Bacanin has also been linked with Rangers but has been spotted following Celtic on social media and the Cukaricki sporting director told their official website that he will leave.

“We had calls from the Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers, Ajax, Udinese, and some other teams are interested.

“It is possible that some other options will appear, and I expect the transfer to be realised in the next ten days.”

Marco Tilio to remain in Europe

Marco Tilio has always been braced to leave Celtic again this season following his return from a two-year loan spell at Melbourne City.

The Melbourne City director thanked Tilio for his contribution after it was confirmed that they had been rebuffed in their attempts to bring him back down under again.

Instead, Tilio will be joining Rapid Vienna on loan with an option to buy to bring an end to a pretty forgettable chapter playing for Celtic.

Luis Palma explains decision for leaving Celtic

Another fringe player heading for the exit door is Luis Palma.

Palma had been training in Honduras while on a delayed return to training due to his Gold Cup participation.

With Brendan Rodgers keen to get him off the books, Palma will join Lech Poznan on loan with an option to buy.

After arriving in Poland, Palma said it was his decision to leave Celtic and begin a new chapter to get his career back on track.
