67 Hail Hail has all of the latest transfer news this Thursday morning including updates on Louis Munteanu, Lewis Ferguson and David Watson.

Poll: Which position do Celtic need to strengthen in the 2026 January transfer window?

FCSB chief doesn’t want to complete Louis Munteanu transfer

Celtic were one of those linked with Louis Munteanu over the summer, but no move materialised.

Munteanu even went on strike to force a transfer from Cluj, but soon admitted defeat and returned to action.

As the months have gone on, it has become clear that Cluj must sell their top asset in order to balance the books.

Fellow Romanian side FCSB were one of those interested; however, their owner now wants to pull the plug on a possible Munteanu deal.

It is believed that Cluj would want around £8m for his services. Will Celtic return for him?

Lewis Ferguson tipped to leave Bologna

Lewis Ferguson was part of the same Scotland squad alongside Kieran Tierney and Anthony Ralston that celebrated qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, but question marks over his future have arisen.

The midfielder is a boyhood Rangers fan so a move to Celtic would be out of the question, however he may no longer get the chance to face the Hoops in the Europa League.

Reports in Italy suggest that Inter Milan could make a move for Ferguson, which would mean that he would move up to the Champions League, avoiding the Bhoys altogether.

New SPFL club enter the race for David Watson

David Watson is one of Scotland’s most exciting young talents and could be on the move this summer.

67 Hail Hail previously revealed that Celtic are facing competition from Hearts for Watson’s signature.

The Kilmarnock midfielder can speak to clubs about a pre-contract agreement from 1 January, although there may be a bidding war so that he can be signed now and allow the Ayrshire club to be given a small fee.

It seems that another club has joined the race too, with Aberdeen credited as being interested in Watson too.

Watson’s future is more than likely going to dominate the next few months.
