Celtic like the look of U20 World Cup golden ball winner
Morocco’s U20 World Cup winning squad are expected to attract plenty of interest in them after their triumph in Chile, and Celtic are certainly a part of that.
After being impressed by Morocco U20 captain Hossam Essadak, there is also another talent the Hoops are monitoring.
67 Hail Hail revealed that Celtic are keeping tabs on Othmane Maamma – who followed in the footsteps of the likes of Sergio Aguero to win the golden ball.
Maamma is currently at Watford and no approach is expected for now, but they will continue to watch him closely.
Viljami Sinisalo may look to leave Celtic on loan
The life of a back-up goalkeeper isn’t as glamorous as people may think.
Like all footballers, they want to play, and Viljami Sinisalo is no different.
Unless Kasper Schmeichel is injured, the 24-year-old has had to settle for a place on the bench.
However, Sinisalo has opened the door to leaving Celtic on loan in January in a bid to play regularly before returning to compete in the summer.
Irish youngsters also being watched by Celtic
As well as the U20 World Cup, there has also been the U17 World Cup taking place in Qatar.
One of the nations competing at the tournament was the Republic of Ireland, who have some exciting talents.
Michael Noonan of Shamrock Rovers and Vinnie Leonard from Dundalk are two real standouts and 67 Hail Hail reported that Celtic are watching the Irish youngsters.
As Noonan and Leonard are both 17, they would have to wait until their 18th birthdays before officially making the move, which would be some time in 2026.
