The transfer window closes on Monday night but that won’t stop players from agreeing pre-contract deals.
It might prevent them from moving until the summer but it remains to be seen what happens between now and Tuesday morning.
Celtic have landed Kieran Tierney on a deal albeit Arsenal don’t want to let him go to avoid being short at left-back with Oleksandr Zinchenko potentially being moved on for £30million.
Greg Taylor has options as he is out of contract in the summer but manager Brendan Rodgers hopes he pens a new deal.
Dinamo Zagreb are interested in Taylor as are clubs down south.
But it is another player who has earned potential suitors with his performances for Celtic‘s B team and their academy side in the UEFA Youth League where he has hit six goals in the same number of games.

West Ham are close to a pre-contract with Daniel Cummings
Daniel Cummings is a kid in the eyesight of several Premier League clubs as well as some teams in Serie A.
Portsmouth hoped to land Cummings on a deal but now the Daily Record claim it’s West Ham who are closer to making a move for the 18-year-old happen.
Graham Potter is new in the job as manager of the Hammers and he has agreed to sanction their agreement with Cummings if they can make it happen.
It would mean the player – who made his competitive debut for the Celtic first-team in the Champions League vs Aston Villa – could make the move down south for as little as around £300,000.
That would be the cross-border training compensation amount Celts would be due for the player who has 26 goals in 27 games and would certainly not be the ideal piece of business for the Scottish Premiership giants.
Rodgers this week acknowledged Cummings for his talents after bringing him on at Villa Park.
And the Irishman hinted that the player may not be quite ready for too much first-team exposure.
What Brendan Rodgers says about Cummings at Celtic
He said: “I’d always say for the young players, I think the challenge here now for young players is patience.
“They want to be in the first team at 17, 18. But that’s difficult at a club like this here, unless you’re an incredibly special talent. But it doesn’t mean that you can never be.
“I’ve spent my career and my life developing young players, putting them in the team. And some have been ready. Like Raheem Sterling at 17 years of age. He was ready. Physically, mentally, ability, everything.
“Then there’s been some other players, like Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, that need a wee bit more time, and he gets his debut, and then he’s ready a bit later.
“It’s just about time.”
