Gianluca Di Marzio believes Kasper Hogh is ‘set’ to join Celtic, with talks now under way with Bodo/Glimt.
Hogh has been linked with Celtic for several weeks, with Martin O’Neill keen to strengthen his attacking options before the transfer window closes.
We told this morning how Anthony Joseph suggested that Celtic haven’t spoken to Hogh just yet as the Parkhead club’s interest in the Dane remained strong.
However, that picture looks completely different now after Di Marzio’s latest claim.

How much should Celtic pay to sign Kasper Hogh?
Di Marzio makes major Celtic claim on Hogh
The Danish striker has impressed this season, making him one of Celtic’s main targets this summer. He has scored 18 goals in all competitions.
Speaking to SpilXperten, Di Marzio said, “Yes, I think Kasper Hogh is set to join Celtic. It’s not that they necessarily have a deal in place already, but it certainly looks as though there’s a very real possibility that he’ll be joining Celtic.
“It’s absolutely correct that Celtic and Bodo/Glimt are in contact with each other, and over the next few days we’ll find out whether they can reach an agreement.”
Celtic are now speaking directly with Bodo/Glimt
Di Marzio stops short of saying a deal has been agreed. He does confirm that the two clubs are now speaking directly.
If Celtic and Bodo/Glimt agree a fee over the coming days, Hogh could become Celtic’s next signing.
An agreement would move Celtic significantly closer to solving the striker position before the new Premiership season kicks off.
