Lennon Miller is the latest Scottish football prodigy who has most clubs tracking his progress.
Celtic are definitely interested in Miller with scouts having watched the youngster this season before he picked up an injury that ruled him out of action for Motherwell.
Brendan Rodgers likes the 18-year-old and Celtic asked the Steelmen about the playmaker back in January who, as we at 67 Hail Hail understand it, refused to name an asking price for their talent.
It is believed ‘Well want around £4million for the player and the Hoops may well return to the negotiating table down the line.
But they will almost certainly face competition from European clubs as well as teams in the Premier League in England who have also been tracking Miller including Udinese who were recently linked.

Andy Halliday tells Lennon Miller he is ‘better’ than Udinese amid Celtic interest
Miller’s teammate at Fir Park, Andy Halliday, believes his pal can “do better” than the Serie A outfit who have interest and he urged him to stick around at the club who gave him a platform for a bit longer before he “outgrows” them.
“I told Lennon if I was him and Udinese phoned I wouldn’t answer! That’s a little bit tongue-in-cheek but he’s better than that – the sky’s the limit for him, really. Motherwell are very lucky to have Lennon and he’s really lucky to have them,” Halliday said.
“It’s been a club that’s given him a platform at such a young age. It’s allowed him to develop, allowed him to make mistakes, and let him grow and become the player he is just now. I don’t think there’s any doubt Lennon’s going to continue to grow, and then outgrow Motherwell. You see the kind of clubs that he has been linked with over the last couple of months.
“I’m just delighted to have Lennon from now until the end of the season, but if he continues the form he’s had for the last 18 months, well, we need to enjoy him while we can.”
Halliday discussed Celtic’s interest in Miller specifically this week as the former Rangers man revealed he hopes the player doesn’t move to Celtic Park.
Not surprising, of course, but it shows he may be a tad worried about the prospect of a young lad he knows is destined for great things moving to the east end of Glasgow.
Motherwell chief executive’s stance on Lennon Miller
Motherwell don’t want to sell Miller right now and their chief executive Brian Caldwell recently explained how he feels the young man is in the right place.
“We are all realistic to realise there will come a time when Lennon will move on. He is an extremely talented player who we all see every week,” Caldwell told the club’s website.

“But that time will only come when the deal is right for the club and the player. We have a really good relationship with his agent. We spoke only last week.
“We’re not in a rush to sell Lennon, we don’t need to sell him.
“But it’s not all about us, it’s about Lennon too. He is playing games every week which is the most important thing for his development and if he continues to develop the way he is we understand for his own development he’d probably need to go to a higher level, potentially.
“We need to bide our time and make sure when that time comes it’s the right deal for the club and the player.”
