Celtic’s pursuit of Michel-Ange Balikwisha is well-known.
Brendan Rodgers appears to be a fan of the talented winger and seems to be keen on bringing Balikwisha to Celtic.
The Belgian has been linked to Celtic since July 2024 and much like Mathias Kvistgaarden, the rumours have simply not gone away.
So as Celtic clearly like the look of the winger, how does Balikwisha feel about a potential move to the Scottish champions?
Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph shares what he has been told.

Royal Antwerp’s Michel-Ange Balikwisha ‘would like to join Celtic’
With Celtic needing to replace Nicolas Kuhn, it looks like Balikwisha is a player the Parkhead club have identified as a suitable candidate.
And it appears the winger is as keen as Celtic to get a summer deal done.
Joseph told Off The Underside, “Balikwisha is someone they’ve been monitoring for quite a while.
“I think they’re also just looking at what other options are out there and weighing up whether Balikwisha is the guy to make a potential £5m outlay on.
“From what I’ve heard, the indications are that Balikwisha would like to join Celtic. If Celtic can get a deal over the line with Royal Antwerp, then I think personal terms and sorting out a contract for Balikwisha will be quite easy work for them.”
What has annoyed Marc Overmars about Celtic-linked Balikwisha rumours
With Celtic holding a firm interest in Balikwisha, Royal Antwerp’s sporting director Marc Overmars is clearly not one for bartering a price with.
Speaking this week, Overmars said of the Celtic-linked winger, “Things like that (outgoing transfers) can happen in a day. I don’t want to beat around the bush: many clubs are ready to make a move.
“There were some bids but they were not serious enough. We’ll see if anything attractive comes along in the near future.”
Celtic have enough cash in the bank to make the deal happen without a hitch so all eyes will be on the Parkhead club to see what happens next.
