The worst-kept secret is out: Greg Taylor is set to leave Celtic in the summer.
Brendan Rodgers all but confirmed that Taylor will head for the exit door when his contract at Celtic Park expires at the end of June.
The 27-year-old joined Celtic in 2019 from Kilmarnock, and he has gone on to win ten trophies, including two more possible medals heading his way in the coming months, especially another Premiership title.

But, with Taylor set to leave and questions of who he would join, the name of Rangers was put on the table by Kris Boyd.
A select few players have represented both Glasgow clubs before, and you have even had players who have supported/repped either Celtic or Rangers in their youth, but gone on to play for the other side, i.e. Taylor.
Either way, amid the suggestion that Taylor should join Rangers, former striker John Hartson also shared his penny’s worth, and his comments might come as a surprise.

John Hartson backs Greg Taylor to secure a possible move from Celtic to Rangers
It’s a daring move, and if it were to happen, then Taylor would become a pretty unpopular player with the Celtic fans, regardless of what he has or hasn’t won at the club.
It doesn’t help the player in question that he is a marmite-like figure already, but Hartson isn’t ruling out the idea of Taylor making that switch and stated that it depends on whether he has the ‘cojones’ to do it.
Given the heat of Glasgow, Hartson stated that, if Taylor made the move, then the angry reaction it would cause from the fans ‘shouldn’t come into it’, as he told Go Radio.
“It all depends really, in terms of, you know what Glasgow is like, Celtic and Rangers,” said Hartson. “It’s whether he has got the cojones, if you like, to move across the city.
“You know what the city is like. Certainly, he is a good player and I think he would be an asset to Rangers, if he were to do it.
“But that would have to be the question you would have to ask him, whether or not he will do it. It’s completely up to him. This shouldn’t come into it, because he is a footballer, and he just wants to pursue his career and play every game.
“But it’s a big decision for him. When you have been at Celtic for four, five or six years. Played 200 games and you have won so many trophies. That’s the call for me, whether Greg Taylor is willing to make that switch.
“I don’t see anything. It’s not a ground-breaking move if it happens, for me. But it’s going to come down to the boy and down to Rangers. He is a free transfer, so he is going to want big wages. He might want to stay in this country. His family is up here. He has enjoyed his time in Scotland. We just don’t know.”
Select players who have represented Celtic and Rangers
You have to be a brave soul to make that switch across Glasgow, but there have been players in the past who have dared that move.
From Alfie Conn, who was the first player post the war to do so, to Kenny Miller, who had three different spells at Ibrox in between playing for Celtic.
But here is a list of some of the players to have represented the colours of Celtic and Rangers.
