Celtic are reportedly exploring a move for Las Palmas goalkeeper Dinko Horkas.
However, club president Miguel Angel Ramirez says that clubs interested in the goalkeeper have got off to a ‘bad start’ in negotiations.
That’s because, he claims, that clubs have been ‘tapping up’ the player and negotiating with him individually before making an approach to the Gran Canaria outfit.
Celtic are seemingly in a four-way race for Horkas, according to reports in Spain.
Has he done enough?
Celtic, Hull, Olympiacos and Sevilla chase Dinko Horkas
According to Canarian outlet La Provincia, Celtic are in a race with Hull City, Olympiacos and Sevilla for the Croatian goalkeeper.
He is reportedly valued at £6-8 million.

With Horkas as first-choice goalkeeper, Las Palmas just failed in their bid for promotion back to La Liga, losing out to Malaga in the play-offs.
This makes him available, but competition from elsewhere is strong. Hull’s interest indicates that Jack Butland is unlikely to be their replacement for Ivor Pandur.
Both Olympiacos and Sevilla are likely to offer a higher salary than Celtic likely would. The Greek side are expected to lose first-choice stopper Konstantinos Tzolakis this summer, whilst Sevilla are in need of two goalkeepers after the exits of Orjan Nyland and Odysseas Vlachodimos.
Horkas is a product of the famed academy at Dinamo Zagreb, but was never the first-choice goalkeeper in the Croatian capital. Instead, he played in Bulgaria before hitting his stride in Spain.
Celtic have a vacancy in the goalkeeping position this summer, whether they want a new first-choice or not.
Current transfer links indicate that they do, despite Viljami Sinisalo’s run of appearances towards the end of last season.

Goalkeepers being linked with Celtic currently
Tjark Ernst has also recently been revealed to be a Celtic target, though Wolfsburg are leading the race for the German goalkeeper.
The Celts are also behind in the chase for Mat Ryan, who is currently holding talks over a return to Club Brugge.
Motherwell stopper Calum Ward is also reportedly of interest, along with his club teammates Elijah Just, Tawanda Maswanhise and Elliot Watt.
Pierce Charles of Sheffield Wednesday is also a Celtic target, though the Hoops face competition from Rangers and Manchester City.
