Celtic look to be closing in on their first signing of the summer as the Hoops begin their preparations for the 2025/26 season.
Reports have claimed that Callum Osmand is set for a medical at Celtic and if all goes to plan, the Fulham youngster will become Brendan Rodgers’ second addition of the new season, following the return of Kieran Tierney.
Fulham fans have begged Osmand to stay – which can only be a positive for the Bhoys as they bolster their forward line at Celtic Park.
He’s not the first striker to swap London for Glasgow, with one of Celtic’s best forwards of the 21st century providing a glowing endorsement for the 19-year-old about to follow suit.

Moussa Dembele said Celtic could improve him, he was right
Moussa Dembele is a hugely popular figure around Parkhead and was one of the marquee signings during Rodgers’ first stint.
Dembele’s hat-trick against Rangers set the tone for his time in Glasgow, eventually going on to score 51 goals in 94 games before joining Lyon in the 2018.
Without Celtic, the Frenchman wouldn’t be where he is today and when he joined the club in June 2016, the striker believed that playing under Rodgers would improve him.
He told the club website: “I signed for Celtic because it’s a massive club in Europe and I want to play in the Champions League. I think I can do this here.
“I came to Celtic to improve. I was in the Championship now I’m in the Scottish Premier League. I see my future here and hopefully I can score lots of goals for the club and win many trophies.
“As a young boy you always know about Celtic because the club is massive in Europe. You always hear about them and last season I started to watch closely the Scottish League.”
Where will Callum Osmand fit in at Celtic?
Signing a striker is the number one priority for Celtic and while Osmand may fit that criteria, is he first team quality?
The 19-year-old was nominated the Premier League 2 Player of the Season after scoring 19 goals but is yet to make his senior debut.
Already at the club is Adam Idah and Johnny Kenny but Rodgers will have forward options on his shortlist.
A deal for Mathias Kvistgaarden looks unlikely and news of an approach for David Strelec has gone quiet too.
It seems that Osmand is one for the future now, but if he’s half as good as Dembele, Celtic have found themselves another gem.
