After securing a deadline-day move from Crystal Palace, Jeffrey Schlupp is now in the Celtic building.

It was the only deadline day transfer Celtic concluded and it left some supporters frustrated because they think the squad has become weaker.

Brendan Rodgers lost Kyogo Furuhashi, Alex Valle, Alex Bernabei and Luis Palma during the January transfer window.

On the other side, Jota made a comeback and scored on his second debut against Motherwell, as Schlupp arrived from Crystal Palace on a deal until the end of the campaign.

The 32-year-old moves to Celtic to provide cover for Greg Taylor and various other roles in the team because he has played across the pitch in his career.

This will be Schlupp’s fourth club of his career after starting at Leicester City, where he won the Premier League title in 2016, alongside Kasper Schmeichel.

You don’t expect the Ghana international to feature against Dundee, but you suspect, fans will get to see him in action at the weekend when Celtic take on Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup.

Until then, Schlupp took to Instagram to introduce himself to his new fans.

That much-needed striker didn’t arrive for Celtic in January, as Odsonne Edouard, who is on loan at Leicester City from Palace, struggles to even make the matchday squad. Perhaps he could have been useful elsewhere?!

But the former Bhoys hero reacted to Schlupp joining a club where he made a name for himself.

Edouard, Jack Grealish and many others reacted in the comments section of Schlupp’s IG and this is what they had to say:
