Olympiacos have decided on the future of Celtic loanee Luis Palma as the end of his loan approaches.
Palma joined the Greek Super League side on loan in January with an option to make the deal permanent for £3.5m.
However, the Honduras international hasn’t been a regular starter and although Palma was involved in Olympiacos’ title celebrations at the weekend, will feel like he wasn’t a major player.
The winger will win two league titles though for his part played in Celtic’s pending Scottish Premiership victory but is unsure where he will be next summer.

Olympiacos decide against signing Luis Palma
Brendan Rodgers is preparing for a summer overhaul which will see many come and go at Parkhead.
One of those who is unlikely to be at the club next season is Palma but Olympiacos is unlikely to be his new permanent home.
According to reports in his homeland of Honduras, the Greek giants won’t trigger their option to buy the winger, leaving question marks about his time in Athens beyond this season.
There is interest elsewhere with Dynamo Kyiv reportedly keen on Palma but for now, expect him to be back in Glasgow this summer.

Luis Palma needs to move on for the sake of his own career
For all the excitement around the 25-year-old’s arrival in 2023, he hasn’t quite hit the heights expected of him.
Palma turned down Rangers to sign for the Hoops and has only shown brief moments but with 10 goals from 36 games in all competitions, it’s hard to see where he improves the squad.
Daizen Maeda, Jota and Nicolas Kuhn are all way ahead in the ranks. Even James Forrest is still around and seems in favour under Rodgers in comparison to Palma, who isn’t wanted by the Celtic boss.
It will be interesting to see where he ends up.
